Once a humble Scout 1060, this train has been reimagined as an elegant steamer ready to roll on for another 75 years. The train has received the RestoMod Total Restoration Solution and has been decorated in an eye-popping blue and gray livery with gorgeous details hand applied in the cab. The tender is a bit of a scratch and dent model. It had a crack that has been repaired. We just couldn;t talk ourselves into giving up on it. The motor was completely disassembled, cleaned and refurbished and is now ready for decades of faithful service.
This beautiful Lionel 1688 is a classic prewar Torpedo model. Famous for its streamlined, bullet-like Raymond Loewy design, it was in production from 1936 to 1942. This beneficiary of the RestoMod Total Restoration Solution has been rebuilt from the ground up and sports a black and gold livery and a unique white tender. The black finish is infused with tiny golden sparkles that add to its already stunning presence.
